How does the Bidding Process Work?
Passengers can enter their desired fare, and drivers can respond by accepting, rejecting, or proposing a counter-bid. Bidding creates an engaging and interactive process, providing users with the flexibility to negotiate.
Driver Assignment: Once a fare is agreed upon, the app assigns the ride to the respective driver.

After your driver application has been approved, we will notify you via email and send a notification through your app.

Our goal is to ensure a safe and enjoyable Hyre experience for everyone. We've introduced a dual rating system, allowing both riders and drivers to rate each other. Riders can rate on a scale of 1 to 5 stars and provide feedback.

Here are some tips to receive a 5-star rating:

  • Keep your vehicle clean and well-maintained.
  • Maintain excellent customer service at all time.
  • Offer a warm and friendly greeting to passengers.
  • Engage in polite and professional conversation throughout the trip.
  • Assist with luggage when it is safe to do so.
  • Note that if a trip is canceled, the rider won't be able to rate it.

Hyre's Share My Ride" is a safety feature that  allows you to share your ride status with family and friends. With a few clicks, you can send a link to your loved ones, enabling them to track your journey without needing the Hyre app. This feature adds an extra layer of security and peace of mind for both you and your loved ones.

Cash payments for rides will be settled immediately after each completed trip. On the other hand, card or Endcash & WiPay payments from customers will be processed every Monday. To ensure timely processing, all cash-out requests must be submitted before the Sunday 23:59 pm cut-off. Please note that it may take 3-4 days for cash-out requests to be fully processed.

Hyre takes 15% of the fare from drivers for using the app. Therefore 85% of the fare, belongs to the driver 

All drivers receive a 5% cash back for gas on each trip.
